The first thing I recognized when arrived at IKIRU was the room that is clean and tidy. It's more than I expect. The room also has an LCD Tv, a cupboard, a desk that is in a good condition. The hotel also provide some books to read, most of them are Lonely planet series. I suggest the hotel to provide a more varied menu for breakfast, for example bread, because for some people eat complete rice+traditional menu in the morning is too much. The addition of signage in front of the access road would make accessibility better. Overall, it's been pleasure stayed at IKIRU. Thanks.

Great Homestay!
Nice Room and facilities, Clean, not too far from main city

IKIRU offered great room and facilities with AC, small TV, free wifi, delicious breakfast and clean surroundings. Not too far from main road and easy access to the main city. They also provided taxi calling, motor cycle or car rental.
With it price, it is worthy.
But If you are back very late, you need call the home stay guard to open the fence. Quiet, you can get sleep easily :)
Nice for solo traveler.

came back a second time just for 1 night and all was perfect. nice room with ac, tv, shared bathroom small but i managed. friendly service and staff always ready to help with food, taxis, etc... great value for money.

Had booked a single room with shared bathroom and price also included breakfast and got all I paid for and more. The place is very clean, room was a good size with AC, breakfast was good and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The bathroom is small, very small in fact but I managed. The place is quiet in a small side street just meters away from a major road and close to a few eating places and a bakery where price are discounted after 7 pm. Great place for the budget minded person.

No regrets choosing this place.
Very clean room. Spacious for one person. Window opens into a tiny indoor garden makes, but the ambience is good. Very comforable bed for a good night sleep.
Shared bath was also very clean.
Quiet residential neighbourhood. Location is not perfect, but taxis are only a call away. And they only book the safest and most reliable taxis in Surabaya, so you don't get ripped off by having to bargain. No eateries nearby, but you can order delivery of some simple local food if you are too tired or lazy to go out. You feel at home.
Breakfast served here was simple - toast with butter or/and jam. Or Indonesian fried rice which was good!
I will stay here again on my next trip.

Hotel which is like comfortable home
I like the clean room, the breakfast and also hospitality of the owner.

I stayed there in around 3 nights. In the beginning, i got difficulty to find the hotel, because the hotel is in housing complex. The room is quite good, clean and tidy. Although, i got shared bathroom, but it was kept clean also. I did not get problem about internet connectivity because it was strong enough. I like the breakfast which was very tasty for me.
I were thinking that i got many advantage according to the price. I felt like my home when i stayed there.
Travel tip:
Just call taxi if you want to go to somewhere. You have to walk around 20 meters - 30 meters to reach the main road.

Tempat yang luar biasa, seperti di rumah sendiri.
Tempat nya Bersih dan Nyaman, Kamar juga Nyaman.
Ada Wifi dan ada Sarapan yang bervariasi, tidak monoton setiap hari. Juga Tersedia Air Minum di dapur.
