Clean,comfortable and value for money 4-star hotel
The hotel is clean and comfortable with aesthetically-pleasing design. The breakfast was very good with a good spread of local and western cuisine. A huge,modern shopping mall is 5-minutes walk away.

Had a very pleasant stay at Java Paragon. Booked a deluxe room but was upgraded to a executive suite upon check-in. The suite was, of course, very nice. A huge, modern shopping mall was 5-minutes walk away although it wasn't compelling relative to the malls I am used to back in Singapore. The breakfast spread was very good and the food is delicious. The staff at breakfast was attentive and was quick to clear used plates and provide you with new cutlery. There is a roof-top bar which I discovered only before checking out. Looked like a nice place to chill over some drinks in the evenings.

Please provide plug next to the bedroom. Have some electrical problem. It solved after 4phone calls to reception. Tv also have problem with the screen but get changed straight away. Overall okay

My first impression of the hotel was its quiet environment, nicely shielded from the busy Jalan Mayjen Sungkono.
My initial impression of the guest room was that it was smelly, giving the feeling that the room has not been occupied for a long time.

Good location, small room without any window

This is my first time visit Surabaya. Java Paragon is the first hotel that I stayed. It's good location, good service, good view. But I don't like the room without a window that I can open, since the air-con is quite cold though I have turned it into the smallest.
