we stayed for just one night in novotel, surabaya. we took the one bedroom apartment. the hotel was excellent. the rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. the swimming pool was very nice. the hotel staff were very polite and well mannered.

I stayed for 1 night at Novotel during the weekend. Got the superior room which was smaller than I expected, but it was quite comfortable. The service from the staff was great, just like I have experienced before in any Novotel hotels. But the real problem occurred during breakfast. Since it was weekend, there are tons of people stayed there and the restaurant was packed. We had to fight our way to the buffet table. Glasses and spoons were rare. Some of the food were bland.
Overall, it was a quite satisfying stay, aside from the breakfast problem.

The room is quite old and the room is full of smoking smell once you go in. Anyway the staff is very friendly and the pool is big enough. The breakfast is good compare with Garden Palace Hotel I stayed the previous night. The location is a bit far from city centre but taxi service with meter is just at the door step.

the hotel is located within 30 minutes from juanda airport. the room is very clean and it met all the requirements for both business and leisure travelers. it has a terrace with pool view. the hotel can easily be a 5 stars hotel with an affordable budget for all sort of travelers.

For those who read the reviews on Agoda, can pretty much tell this is my favourite hotel in Surabaya in terms of location, price and standards. I feel that there is a good balance of what you pay and what you get, there are many hotels in Surabaya but atleast I know that if i pay a lil more that I will get a clean room, hot water and a nice bathtub not to mention that the american breakfast is pretty good and filling!

Hotel is very tired room look dirty and quite old. Air condition does not work properly have bad smell. basin and bath tab are crashed. not enough lighting at the first when I check in - too dark. could not sleep so ask to change the room. hotel need immediatly renovation.
staff freindly. Food not good. location is out of downtown nothing near by.
