I stayed in Prime Royal Hotel only 1 night but the hotel is great, the room is clean and the location is quite close to shopping area. The hotel looks new or maybe has been renovated.
But this hotel too far from airport.

We were most pleased with the service and least impressed with the location. There is nothing in the area but you can walk to BG Junction mall and also to Tunjungan Plaza. There is really nothing to do in Surabaya other than to shop. Only visit if you must! The hotel breakfast was okay - mostly Indonesian food but also an egg station and toast. The deluxe rooms are pretty standard and the Internet was very slow and sometimes cut out. The Blue Bird taxi stand right outside the hotel is useful since you will need a taxi to get anywhere in Surabaya. The pool was a good size but the water was cloudy and quite cold. We were disappointed that none of the patio doors for the rooms lock! We checked several rooms and they are all the same - the doors also have a large gap with the frame, allowing mosquitos to enter.

The surroundings are not too swanky (near a busy marketplace), but it's in the center of the city and it's easy to get to most parts of Surabaya from there.
Small but nice pool, too bad they don't provide pool towels.
The breakfast choice may not be extensive but the taste is decent.

I like the stay in the hotel though the surrounding area is quite slummy but the hotel is quite clean and the service is satisfying. It is quite close to some shopping facilities and not far away from the city center.

This is nice clean hotel, aircon is ok, no bath tub and no HBO program. Local foods are arounds at night. 15 minutes frm the closest Tunjungan Plaza Mall. It's a nice hotel

The room is spacious and clean. Most of all the staff are excellent, very willingly to assist on our enquiry.
Shopping malls are located within walking distance.
We would look forward to check-in Prime Royal again on our next trip.
