Victoria N. Couples France, May 19, 2013	Perfect for a short stay Clean, simple and friendly 7 This homestay is very correct and clean ! There are 2 floors, hot and cold water at your disposal. There isn't any food except beverages and instant noodles. Rooms are simple (be careful about the A/C, sometimes it's too cold or not enough), 2 major bathrooms and the staff is very friendly. There aren't dormitories, and that's cool for privacy. Surabaya is not really a touristic city, so if you're here for a short stay or a transit, this homestay is quite enough. Plus, there is a huge mall close to there, cinema and arcade on the last floor and hypermarket on the lower ground floor. The homestay is about 30min from the airport and the bus station. I advice you to take bluebird taxi for your transport, for avoiding scams.
Dorothy F. Business travelers Indonesia, May 18, 2013	basic accommodation worth the money 6.7 I would say it is more like an Indonesian "Kost" rather than a homestay. Everything is very basic. No windows for my room. I can hear conversation from next door, and the bedsheet was yellowish instead of white. That has been said, for the price it ask, i think it is worth it ( you can expect a great service for the price it ask!). I'm concern of the location though. although it is near Ciputra World Mall (walking distance) yet, it is a bit scary to go back to the homestay at night as the surrounding is very very dark. I wouldn't recommend a young girl to walk alone there in the evening.
