I choose Satelite because of the price, room still acceptable. There are some local restaurant and food stalls in front of the hotel with nice food, also beside the hotel there is a snacks shop. there are a lot of local cars for transportation called bemo. you can go to some places by this, just ask the receptionist for help.

Location is strategic... Breakfast is good.. the room is not bad for this hotel.. Near to Surabaya Town Square and Ciputra World Mall. In front of hotel there is a lot of food seller.

Nice hotel with a bargain price

I spent a night during my business trip to Surabaya. The standard room doesn't have a coffee maker and refrigerator. This wouldn't be a problem since I was staying for sleeping only. However, despite not having a coffee maker, the room service is available for 24 hours. You can order light snack and hot drink any time of the day.
Restaurant Tip:
The Ramayana Restaurant is within walking distance (about 5 minutes) from the hotel. It serves old fashioned Chinese dishes with a very reasonable price considering the portions are rather large. I spent IDR 150.000 (which is less than USD 15) for a full course meal for 3 people.

Old hotel with average service

This hotel was build in late 90's.
The furniture and room lighthing will send you back to old times.
The breakfast menu is enough.

A Budget hotel with polite staff

This is 2nd stay at this hotel. I stayed at 3rd floor n my previous stay was at 6th floor. The 3rd floor room has a higher ceiling than e one at 6th floor thus making e entire space bigger. However, coz of the bigger space, the air conditioner seems not able to cool e room at my preferred temperate. So it's kinda warm at times. As usual, no fridge n safe. The main point is for a budgeted accomdation.
