Beautifully maintained resort-like hotel

Charming hotel in the centre of town

a great place to relax, a beautiful property with lots of green. the staff were very helpful in making dining recommendations and with organising a lunch box for us at 6am in the morning.
they also warned us about loud prayers from the mosque close by but we didn't hear a thing.
overall a great place to enjoy the city of yogyakarta.
Restaurant Tip:
Kesuma is about a 10 minute walk away. Exquisite Indonesian food.

A friend who went to university in town recommended this lovely hotel and we are so glad we stayed here. The room was good size and comfortable temperature - bed with mosquito netting however the netting did not close all the way (we did not have trouble with mosquitos at all). The food was very nice in the open air restaurant and staff were friendly and accommodating. They provided us a late check out after we needed to shower upon our return from a jeep tour around Mirapi without problem. Spa is small. Location good and large grocery store is very close.
Restaurant Tip:
You can take a pedal driven cart for dinner around the corner to a great restaurant called Via Via on the street with many guesthouses.

found out i could have gotten a cheaper room had i booked directly with the hotel. the 415am morning call to prayers is loud! beautiful grounds, and great staff.
