Joglo Plawang is a gem in Jogja. I was given an upgrade of the room to a junior villa which was fantastic. Hotel is clean, staffs are very helpful and friendly. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. I love the hotel very much. Gem of Jogja. Keep it up!
Nightlife Tip:
A little bit off from the main streets. Might wanna grab some food or drinks before you head back at night.

Beautiful hotel with good facilities
30 minute drive to temples and Yogyakarta

Nestled in quiet village. The different room types are scattered around three main areas; reception, swimming pool and restaurant. The hotel staff were very kind, and went out of their way to help. It was very quiet when we were there and the manager showed us around the whole hotel, it is stunning. Although it spans a road, security guards run out to warn the (usually) one motorbike on the road that you are crossing. There is a full gamelan orchestra and shadow puppets set up. It would be worth finding out when it happens (didn't when we were there) as the setting is lovely. Behind the restaurant area, the villlas are scattered around a lovely small river valley worth taking a look if you're not staying in this part of the hotel.
Downside, although the rooms were comfortable, there was no secured safe. I know it's a quiet area but this a mininmum for a hotel selling itself as 4-star. Also had to get somebody to sort the telly, and wifi didn't work in the room. Minor things, but for the price should work.
Overall would definitely recommend this hotel.
Travel tip:
Take a stroll (or hotel bike ride) around the village early evening, depending which way you go you can get a view of Merapi. If you're into Batik, at the crossroads (right from main reception) is a (printed) batik shop. Bought material with absolutely no hassle.

A delightful Javanese experience

A truly Javenese experience in every respect. A totally different from the normal city centre hotel. This is situated in a rural setting about 10 miles north of Yogjakarta, and is a well placed for Borubodor,Merapi and the other tourist temple sites eg Prambanan.
The hotel has cars/drivers for day hire at reasonalbe rates which is a good way to tour.

スタッフの感じが良く、サービスも良い静かで快適なホテルでした
食事がおいしい。到着時にフロント前で撮った写真をチェックアウト時にバティック柄の写真立てに入れてプレゼントしてくれる。

週明けの月曜だったからか、他の客がほとんどいなくて静かで快適でした。川の水の流れる音しか聞こえません。建物はやや古めでしたが清潔感があります。部屋に程よい大きさのテーブルがないのがちょっと不便でした。
スタッフは皆笑顔で対応し、とても感じがよかったです。
街からは離れているので周りには何もありませんが、ホテル内で食事も済ませられますし、不便は感じませんでした。食事は夕食朝食ともに非常においしく、うれしいサプライズでした。
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
ボロブドゥールまでは車で40分くらい。朝4時に出れば余裕でサンライズツアーに参加できます。

这家酒店服务非常好，上机前我们打通酒店的电话告诉他们航班信息，出机场就见阿蒙举着牌子再等我们了。酒店只提供一台7人座的汽车接送，我们另租了一台车（机场里面有的士服务，选用很便宜）。酒店环境我很喜欢，远离城市，在乡下马路边，我们安排住在酒店外面的一个小院子，房子应该是收购了以前的大户人家后改的，白天很热进到亭子里马上就凉下来了，衣服放在亭子里晒都不会干，放外面院子里马上就干了。我们一行11人，酒店安排几名服务人员贴身服务，很满意。在酒店有几件事一定要做：1.做个Massage；2.吃一餐酒店的美食；3.去游泳池泡下水；4。餐厅后面的景色很美，不要错过。
提醒：离城市有一点远，到酒店后，可另找车出入酒店去景点各处玩

Saya membayangkan tempat ini megah dan luas seperti di website tetapi ternyata kecil dan sempit. Pengambilan angel untuk foto2 di website sangat pandai hingga cukup menjual. Terima kasih kepada keramahan pelayanan yang diberikan setidaknya bisa menjadi obat, ditambah lagi buah salaknya yang yummy. Terima kasih untuk Free wifi nya yg berkecepatan tinggi.
