Good location, but small rooms and small pool

Good location but small hotel rooms and small swimming pool. The room and the furniture a bit old and the cleanliness could be better.

Generally a very good hotel. Nice sized room. The telephones and furniture are very old and need replacing. It is listed as a five star hotel but fixtures and fittings are diapitated.Wi Fi was advertised for use in the lobby area. Was unable to get continuous internet service for the four days of my stay. All staff were accommodating nothing being too much trouble.
Travel tip:
Market stalls only 10/15 minutes walk from the hotel

Excellent hotel, very good and friendly service
Staff was always very friendly and competent. One major selling point for us was the in house travel agency and spa.
9
a major benefit for us was the inhouse travel agency. before arring at the hotel, i had an excellent email contact and could book all my transportation and sightseeing packages. the staff is very professional and showed themselfes very flexible in accomodating our travel plans. the drivers, guides were very punctial and professional. due to the team, we could spend a hassle free and very enjoyable holiday!
hotel rooms, facilities are excellent. clean rooms, nice pool and spa area. the backyard and pool area is very green and makes it an oasis to relax.
staff is very friendly, accomodating and professional.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Location of hotel is good. Major street with shops, shopping center is within walking distance. The Kraton Sultan Palace and Watercastle are within 20 min by car. Pramanban and Boroboudour approx 1 hr.
Restaurant tip: Gajah Wong
Local and Western Food. Very nice garden. Good food. Approx 15 min per taxi to the restaurant from the hotel.

This hotel is overall good, with good service. But the room is old, small TV, bathroom good with separate shower and bathtub. Breakfast is good, many variant, they serve "Gudeg" too. Swimming pool is clean, but not really big.

Hotel is kind of old but well maintained, service is wonderful and super helpful.
Breakfast buffet was vast and great. with a great view of the garden.
it was a little unfortunate that the pool was under maintainance when we were there.
The Bar's Live music was highly entertaining.
Great location-walkable to malioboro and Keraton
Overall Melia purosani was a good hotel with great service

Lovely and comfy hotel with luxurious design
The guest room and bathroom were big, The twin beds and sofa were comfy. Nice view of mount Merapi from my guest room
9.3
The hotel is on good location: near Malioboro and not on a noisy street. We feel very comfortable as soon as we walked in the hotel lobby, greeted with the hotel staffs with big smiles ( they're also employees - can do attitudes) . finally... the buffet breakfast was outstanding + world class !
Restaurant Tip:
Local foods suh as Soto Ayam Pak Min and Sate Podomoro on the back street of hotel are yummy !

Great staff, convenient location
Staff, location, breakfast
8.7
The staff were consistently wonderful & responsive. There was a small issue with the room they had initially booked us in, but they quickly moved us to a new room - and upgraded the room as well! The restaurant/room service menu is decent on the whole, but the (included) breakfast buffet is really excellent: a wide range of options, including Western, Indonesian, & other options. My only complaint is that the in-room internet is very pricy (about $15/day), but there is free wireless in the lobby.
