This was my first time in Yogyakarta and stayed here on a recommendation of a local colleague of mine. It is situated right next to a small mall which meant it was easy enough to find simple necessities and a decent array of local and western cuisine (the group I travel with aren't the most adventurous when it comes to food, so western comfort foods help). Taxis are easy to use, and the chap I used was happy to wait around for me while I did whistle stop visits to a few sights as I had a couple of hours to kill the next morning before my next meeting.

A nice hotel, but need to renew the facilities

The hotel actually nice, however they need to renew the facilities. The hotel staff is friendly, trying their best to satisfy their customers. The location is on the centre of the town, easy for shopping and might be for business meeting..absolutely no for adventure trip or night life.

Our number one choice everytime we're going to yogya. Easy to access, near everywhere, and nice room.
Travel tip:
Only few meters from the mall. Very helpful when you have to buy some stuff or snack when you don't know anywhere to go

Very pleasant welcome at this hotel. A sincere smile and very helpful assistance of all employees. The hotel's location is in the city, although not in Malioboro street, but very strategic. At that time we were staying overnight for one night only, but if there is a chance to return to Jogjakarta, surely we will stay again.
Shopping Tip:
If there is a necessity that you forgot to bring along, do not be an issue, a shopping mall just steps from the hotel.

it was a beautiful stay. the staff was very very friendly. had a welcome drink at any moment dusing the stay. the pool is beautiful. we ate some cakes bought from the hotel which was delicious. room service is great!
