LOCATED ON THE CENTER OF THE CITY , EASY ACCESS TO SHOPPING OR RESTAURANTS.
KINDNESS OF THE STAFF EXECUTIVE FLOOR VERY POOR AVAILABILITY, SMALL ROOM, OLD FURNITURES This hotel was choiced due to the fact of the international name. Executive floor was booked. In the general point of view we feld let down about the general conditions of the hotel and the room itself: small, furnitures from other age.
Restaurant: breakfast buffet just acceptable. Difficult to get a cup of coffee from the staff. Have to wait at least 10 minutes to have an omelet due to the fact nocook available at cooking site. No follow up about the refilling of the buffet... This restaurant has a lake of organisation... Only yhe smile of the personnel give a positive figure... Manager pass in w/o any contact with the customer...

not so congested location, next to shopping mall, lots of taxi waiting outside of the hotel wifi not very stable in the room value for money, good location, clean,

Great hotel in very convenient location. Staff are friendly and very professional.Hotel is always presented nicely and staff put that extra effort in and smiles to make your stay an enjoyable one. There are only two lifts, not a big deal except at peak times..and the breakfast is a little boring...but thats it! Have stayed at the Novotel in Jgja 3 times now and I still regard it as one of the best hotels I have stayed at in all my travels through South East Asia. The rooms have all the features and cable/Australian network, so you can keep in touch with events back home. The pool and bar/restaurant area are fantastic and the gym is also well equipped!Jgja can be chaotic and very hot,the Novotel for me is an oasis out of the hustle and bustle that is Jgja.
Shopping Tip : Good shopping centre just 2 mintues walk to your left from hotel! Even cheaper super market 3 minutes walk to your right and also many ATMs located here.

old and bad smell. no internet connection. can't access wifi in room for the whole trip of 3 days, that is, no improvement even after complain. stayed in jogya for 3 days, so wanted to choose a hotel with internet connection. the ad appears in agoda says that this hotel's roon amenity includes wifi and internet connection, that's why we chose it, but at last there is no internet connection in room. for the wifi, there's access problem in room too. no one tried to fix the problem after first nite's complaint. the second nite the same problem continue, complained again but it's said that i.t. technician's off. the third day morinig a guy came, confirmed that there's setting problem with the floor's router, and have to connect to another hotspot with only 20% strength and a few kb/s. when returned to hotel the third nite, the problem still persisted. complained again and of course the i.t. technician was off again. the next morning some guys came to change the setting and problem's fixed. very disappointed with yogja novotel, such a big chain but so poor management. no one care about what you complain, no one try to fix the problem at once. how many tourists stay in yogja 3 nites and complained strongly to wait for their action?
Travel tip : don't choose yogja novotel hotel

Clean and comfortable rooms, bathroom shower was nice and hot, convenient location, very friendly staff. Everything was lovely. We stayed there for 4 nights and were sad to leave. The people were very friendly, the pool and pool-side lunching were very enjoyable, the breakfast and lunch buffet was delicious, and the room and bed were very comfortable. We got a great price on Agoda - it doesn't include breakfast but it was not very much to add it on.

even high wave, i enjoyed pool and beach with my family. sometime delivery of what I asked was very late It was my second time in phuket. First was for attending the conference in downtown area. This was my second and first with family. My kids enjoyed the karon beach and pools. Morning buffet was very good. The price was reasonable. But drivers in hotel asked too much money for transportation. Andway my stay was memorable and enjoyable.
Travel tip : kata beach Italian restarant 'caprichino' the pizza was almost like blanket and very delicious.

Very nice, clean hotel. THe room is quite spacious with more than enough facilities Overall I like the hotel but one thing. I was going to boil water to make tea, but I changed my mind once I saw the electric kettle. The bottom of the kettle is not clean enough according to my standard So far, we quite satisfied with the hotel. It is neat and clean and worth value of money. It well responded to our requests. We got the room exactly with the conditions as we need although it was on high season. The room is clean and calm. We didn't hear any noise while we're staying there. Definitely, I will recommend this hotel to anybody who wants to visit Yogyakarta who likes to stay in the quite area.

Standard hotel with clean rooms and reasonable restaurant. not much in walking distance of interest so need a car or to taxi/becak
Front desk if fairly inefficient and slow with poor level of English
Smokey Rooms adequate but unremarkable. Service fairly inefficient and not very helpful. Breakfast buffet was good but food from bar area very average. Pool area was small and not very appealing although got good use. Distance to other restaurants and sights was inconvenient. Corridors smokey and a bit dingy.

Nice clean room, room service was efficient and tasty. Staff was very nice. Staff was very willing to hire me a car to Borobudur for sunrise, but be careful, the price at the hotel is about double of what you can get on the street. It's definitely worth it if you have a larger group. The hotel is not really within walking distance of any of the tourist areas, so be prepared to take (very inexpensive) taxis.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you are solo or couple, consider negotiating taxi to take you to the temples. The hotel car hire is good for larger groups.

Best location; Staff performance --- excellent; Room --- spacious & comfortable; nice swimming pool; Spa treatment --- should try cos comfortable environment and of course packages with unbeatable price. Highly-recommend to other tourists who plan to visit Yogyakarta.

Excelent service from the staff. The business floor has free internet and coffee bar. There is also mini golf range provided. The gym is fully equipped. The spa provided on the ground floor is excelent. There is no coridor provided on the business floor This is a good business and leisure hotel. Fully equipped with all necessary facilities required. I was there with my wife for vacation, transportation can be easily arranged visiting all attractions i.e borubodor, prabanam temple, dieng, sultan palace etc. The carrental driver is very accomodative and experince tourist guide. Breakfast is good with combination of western and local cuisine. The gymnasum open as early as 6 a.m with fully trained trainer provided.
Shopping Tip : Good and cheap things to do shopping at Pasar Gede.

- Clean room - Poor wireless broadband Check into Novotel recently and was impressed by the staffs. They are friendly and nice. The room is nice and clean. However, wireless signal was poor. Even if you can get the signal, it is too slow to do anything (1Mbps). The bar tender was very nice. Always greeted us with warm smile. Location is excellent as it is at town center. Walking distance to alot of places like Malioboro, or you can take a "beca" (trishaw) at about 10,000rp. Overall, this is a very good value for $$$ hotel with excellent service. will definitely re-visit again.

Nice hotel and nearby to all attractions. The bed is good & comfortable. People smoking at the entrance of the lifts to hotel causing the whole area polluted. Should have more varieties on Western style for the breakfast. Really enjoy staying at this hotel. The hotel is up to the four star standard. The location is good and within the town area. Nearby many good restaurant & shopping area. It takes about 1hour drive to Borobodur & Prambanam Temples. Breakfast lack of variety of Western style but overall is still considered ok. People smoking at the lift entrance & inside the room causing pollution to the area.
Restaurant Tip : The Seafood Restaurant named Gama Candi not far from the hotel is delicious. The Crabs, shrimp & fish are good. We have been there twice during our stay.

Counter staffs are helpful. Location is good within town area. Beautiful room & comfortable bed. Good hotel & book early to enjoy better rate. We rent the bus for group of 22paxs. It takes only less than 1 hour to reach all attractions like Borobudur, Prabanam, Merapi Volcano, Sultan Palace & shopping areas Marioboro from the hotel. Airport to the hotel also take just merely 30minutes. Good location & Hotel staffs are well-trained & helpful. Will definitely stay again for next visit.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We rent the bus for 22 persons at airport for 24 hours. 1st day 6 hours, 2nd day 12 hours, 3rd day 8 hours. Cost us 2,200,000 Rupiah which we think is reasonable. You can arrange whatever itinerary you like. Good deal !!! Wake up early & go to Merapi Volcano before 7.00am if you want to see the Volcano. Otherwise, later you will not be able to see the volcano because is covered by the mists.

Nice location at town area. Walking distance to many restaurant & shopping areas. Nice room with internet access free. Ask for non-smoking room if you are non-smoker. The guests smoke at lift entrance & hotel rooms. Air pollution & bad ventilation. The hotel has good location to visit all attractions like Sultan Palace, Borobudur & Prabanam Temple in less than an hour drive. Walking distance to many restaurants and shopping areas. Hotel rooms are good & clean. We enjoyed good sleep with the comfortable bed. You can enjoy good internet access at certain room. Make sure you ask the counter staff for the password for free & also the best internet access room.
Hotel Feature Tip : Ask for non-smoking floor is you are non-smoker. Choose the good internet access room. Otherwise you might need to use internet at the lobby.
