Nice ambience bad breakfast
Staying here couples of days considering that conmcted tp Jogja City mall. Overall tje hotel were okay. Also staff are efficient and quick response. Check-in were quick and we got room at new wing 17th floor facing Merapi mountain was a hit and nice view especially at the night. Spacious room with comfy bed. The also provide complete amenities. Shower were good except water after showee need time to drain more longer. Breakfast was taste less alias so so at the first morning which make our mood are not satisfy with the food. Connected to mall so is easy access to get for shopping and fine cuisine. Definitly will back again when visiting Jogja. Hope there will be already an improvement.

Lack of safety environment

I stayed on the 20th february 2016, the hotel looked pretty busy because of there was an event close by. I was with my family and my dad was in the reception to do the check in process. The check in process took so long so I did not realize that I fell a sleep with my phone still on my hand on the sofa in the hotel lobby with my sister and my grandma. Once my dad finished with the process, we made a reservation for renting a car during our stay, still in hotel lobby area. Afterwards, we went up to the our hotel room and I realize i did not have my phone on my hand anymore, so i decided to go down to the hotel lobby and tried to search it. When I ask the reception, the reception was not really care. However the reception tried to call the security to assist me. When the security came, he asked me several question and it took him so long to write a report, also he did not give me any suggestion,he just told me to wait for his boss. He already knew that i will check out on the next day and also asked him to check rhe CCTV but he still keep telling me that i have to wait. So i asked him to call the manager on duty, still, he told me there was no manager on duty. That's really impossible! So i raised my voice and told him to call the manager, finally he called the manager, and the front office manager came, still asked me "what happen? So ya anyway i asked to checked the CCTV, they didnot let me to check bcause its hotel privacy so i told them to check. So the funny thing they told me that the CCTV could not see the sofa where I sat because of there was a big pillar covered the CCTV. What is the function of cctv then? When i talked with the reception, they even did not feel sorry. They just say " yes there is so many people around the hotel. Conclusion: Cctv was not properly placed Service was not suit as 4 stars hotel Slow reaction on guest loss in hotel area Lack of safety in hotel area Tips: needs to be careful with people around that hotel area

4/5 stars for sure
Lives up to it's 4 star rating and goes a bit beyond. Excellent rooms, pools and food. It's also nice having a mall right next door. Some of the facilities are a little below expectations while others exceed them.
