clean place but not so silent as a hotel should be. i would return, if there are no other offers for the same price. all in all we had a nice stay. for european standart i would give 3star for the max, but not more. the breakfast was not really usefull

I enjoyed very much staying at this hotel for four days. The service and assistance from the staff was excellent - effective, prompt, and very friendly. They always smiled and greeted to me when they saw me. I also like the design of the hotel building and their big yard. The yard is so beautifully designed with a strong Indonesian style that made me feel I was in Bali. The food served in the restaurant was great too. I'd like to particularly recommend their Javaness fried rice. Both the presentation and the taste of the meals are superb! \n\nThis hotel is close to Yogyakarta's airport - about 5 minute drive. They provide free shuttle service between the hotel and the airport. In addition, it is not too far from the downtown area (Maliboro and Sultan Palace) - about 10-15 minute drive (depending on the traffic). The hotel also provides free shuttle service to the downtown area. \n\nThe only thing I did not like was the air conditioning in my room. Though I turned to the lowest temperature, I still felt a little too warm. Perhaps they did so to save energy. However, it was bearable during the night and early morning. \n\nIn general, I highly recommend this hotel to those who want to stay in Yogyakarta. The price is low compared to the high quality of the facilities and services the hotel provides.

Generally speaking I am really enjoyed staying at the hotel since it's potrayed and emphasised on traditional set up and outlook. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. The pool view is fantastic and the room has a nice and clean balcony. However, the room and the bath room are a little bit run down, personally, this would be the area to be further improved.
