- Comfortable Room.
- Friendly staff.

- Good location. - Ventilation was not working.
- No bathtub.
- Food not so great. The place is good to stay. The room was clean and comfortable.
BUT the ventilation in our room was not working properly. We called the front desk and they sent someone to look into it immediately but even after that it didn't work properly. And it was late so we did not ask them to change the room. We don't expect this from a 5-star hotel.
We were there only to spend a night and we didn't get proper rest.
Hotel Feature Tip : Ask them to change the room rather than fixing the problem, if there is any.
Otherwise I recommend staying in this hotel.

well trained staff , good location, nice swimming pool, great spa bit expensive for the travel they provide great hotel with good and well train staff, every staff will give a greeting or a smile when they see u walking inside the hotel. good design and full with nice deco things, good for photo shooter. walking distance to night market just 10 minute. stay far from nosiy street too. well location. opposite have the k-mart as well.

Very Clean, no musty smell like most 4 star and below hotels, nice pool and friendly and efficient housekeeping staff. Breakfast a la carte service was very slow. Restaurant staff are not efficient compared to the rest of the hotel staff, room and bathroom are bit small. Perfect hotel stay if do not plan to stay in the room most of the time. Very clean and fresh bedding everyday. Love everything about the hotel except restaurant service.

Central location in Yogyakarta, great value for money, clean and quiet, small rooms but well equipped with nice interior. Always friendly staff! Check-in could have been more speedy - arriving at 5 p.m. and one wouldn't expect to have to wait being let into a room due to late check-out of guests. Spa treatments are way too expensive. I have been staying at Hotel Mercure many times and I do enjoy the atmosphere and the hotel in its entirity. Restaurant staff need to be more organised (i.e. divide tables between them to avoid repetition from colleagues). The Vino bar ought to adjust its prices and choice of music to suit the hotel guests (how many of the 'typical' guests are likely to enjoy house/techno). Happy Hour would be a good initiative too... Still the nicest hotel in Yogyakarta :-)
Restaurant Tip : Try out Hani's Cafe or Via Via for healthy lunches.

Facilities are good. nice and clean luxurious room with balcony. nnice swimming pool. There only limited chioces for the buffet with expensive price. It's a very luxurious hotel with all the facilities and the staff there are nice and helpful.It's also located near convenient shop just walking distance and fast food restaurant just next door.
It's a good place to stay overall with comfortable room relaxing environment and i will come back for a stay in the same hotel again for my next trip to Yogyakarta.
Hotel Feature Tip : You can try to ride a trishaw just right in front of the hotel to the nearest restaurant at only about 10000 rupiahs. it's fun.

Unique design,good service Overall the hotel was very recommended. The position is not really far from main malioboro street. Unique hotel with very nice design only the room is quite small not too spacious.The employee was very friendly and helpful.

Nice environment, beautiful pool area, helpful staff pretty noisy if you have a room nearby the bar We had a nice stay at this hotel and can also recommend it to other guests.

the hotel settings, the location, the breakfast the room size..n depend on the view wat i like the most about this place is the location, its walking distance to maliobaro-the main streets to shop n fud, just ryte beside there is a pizza hut..
love the hotel settings, reflects jogja..the staffs is attentive..overall is a gud place to stay..makes one feels very comfortable..
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : the hotel provides sight seeing and tour packages..but its cheaper to get it out..try walking around malioboro n find for travel agencies..price is still negotiable.
must go--borobudor and prambhanan.

nice rooms. Overall, great hotel for a weekend. The swimming pool is nice, there's even a small gym, and the rooms look quite good. The hotel restaurant has good food, although it is naturally more pricey than a local option. They can also help you with transportation around the area, e.g. to Borobudur.

Second time we've stayed and enjoyed the experience again. Great place to stay, rooms are a nice size so fitting an extra bed in the room for children is no drama. Still room to move even in the deluxe size rooms. Great for any age group, just need to be careful with the fish ponds for the younger children.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Going to Bodobudur is well worth it and make the effort to do the sunrise tour.

Its very close to the main street, easy access to every where, staffs are extremely helpful. Western food at the hotel restaurant is not the best, if you want to dine there, try the local food or curry. I like the hotel a lot, the hotel itself is unique and beautiful, also close to the city and everything else. I would definitely stay here again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you want to see the world heritage here in Jogjakarta, you only need about 6-7 hours to cover them all and one night to walk around is enough. The city is clean and try to bargain about 1/3 of the price they asked for.
Its a nice place to visit.
Also, try to get a direct flight to Yogjakarta, traveling inter airport can be a hassle.

This is one of the best hotel I've stayed during several vacations in Asia. The staff are attentive and helpful, hotel rooms are clean, beautifully decorated and spacious for two people. The western food entrees in the restaurant needs some improvement in using local ingredients however the breakfast buffet is worth the money you pay for. This hotel is impeccable when is comes to service and cleanliness. The rooms are impressive and the staff are the best I've dealt with in a long time. I've requested a quiet non-smoking room and that's was I got with a nice view of the pool. This is the first hotel I've stayed in which the staff did a fire drill, which I appreciated. I welcome the little touches of fresh fruits and candies in the room; staff also prepare your bed for the evening. The spa services and prices are cheaper compare to western spas. I'm giving this hotel an excellent review for a memorable stay in a nice hotel.
Restaurant Tip : A full service Pizza Hut Restaurant is located in the same block as the hotel if your children or you crave for western style fast food.

sometimes service was a bit slow in the restaurant but everything else is excellent. This is a beautiful hotel. Clean rooms, friendly staff, comfortable beds, excellent prices, great food. We felt like we were in an English/ European hotel. We loved every minute of this place. Also a great location and Pedi cabs await you at the door to take you to the local attractions. What more can I say, we'll be staying here again!
Travel tip : Pedicabs will drive you to Marliboro and Kraton palace, good fun, they'll probably also try and sneak you to a friends house to look at their art work. Some nice stuff but expensive unless you can get them down a third!
