Castle Hotel Akita Info
This large property is located in the heart of this important city of northern Japan, just across from Senshu Park. Akita Castle and Museum are located just 10 minutes on foot out the front door of the hotel into the park. The airport is about 40 minutes away. There is a traditional Samurai town about 45 minutes away on the bullet train. Visible from the hotel are the ruins of Kubota castle. Also available in the hotel are a shopping arcade, a convenience shop and a salon. Near to the hotel are both a golf course for warm weather, and ski slopes which are appealing in the winter weather.

The first day I got there I needed to connect to the Internet. I was having trouble doing so. We tried many things and found out it was that particular room that had a problem with the wireless Internet. So they changed rooms for me to fix the problem.
