There is womderfullHot spring top of this Hotel.
I could enjoy the Hot spring with the Snow.
Akida is very famous plase of Snow and Hot spring.
I have visit very famous Hot spring area in the Akida Prefecture... Yes !, the name of the Hot spring is "Youto Osen: it means nipple" anyway it was vey beautifull but you had to take traine and change to bus 2 times... it takes near 3 hours and after I returned to Hotel. I was exhausted..
And I found that there is another Hot spring top of this Hotel.
Not famous, No extra charge, But it is very convineant. Only take a elevater and go to top flower.
There is a Hot Spring. You can see the beautiful landskape of Akida city, and also Snow was falling.

Excellent location and hotel facilities
Free in and outdoor onsen at the top level, free use of washing machine, free nightly dinner 930-11pm.

This is probably the best hotel I stayed at during my 4 week trip in Japan.
The hotel is located not far from the train station about a 5-10 min walk. The bus terminal and great restaurants are also located very close to the hotel.
Beds are comfortable and the single room was large enough to accommodate all my luggage.
The beautiful in and outdoor onsen are accessible for free and are located at the top level. The washing machine is accessible for free but you have to pay to use the dryer which isn't very expensive (200-300yen depending on the amount of clothes).
Ramen is free nightly between 930-11pm.

Good amenities, adequate space for a single room
The location is near to the station. It has amenities such as sauna and onsen. Supper of a simple tasty bowl of ramen is foc.

The room space is adequate for a single and is clean and inviting I have chosen this hotel since it provides amenities such as onsen and a sauna room which can hold a max capacity of 5-7 persons at any one time. The reception staff are very helpful and though most cannot speak English, they make attempts to render any service, including tsuhaibin ( delivery of big luggage to another part of japan's hotel), with patience as I use google translate to communicate..

wonderful rooftop onsen

the dormy inn is in walking distance back to the akita train station, close to the lovely senshu park and almost next to the lovely new akita art gallery designed by tadao ando. i had to wait for late check-in but the staff let me use the internet and drink free hot tea while i waited. i also made good use of the hotel spa baths both in the afternoon and late night as it was so cold outside. from the hotel i could easily walk to various major museums, kawabata dori, and the department stores like aeon.
Hotel Feature Tip:
the rooftop hot baths and rotenburo are very peaceful and uncrowded late afternoon, with a good view of surrounding city.

this business hotel is conveniently located near the train station, and it is across the street from a nice historic park (worth a visit). i was slightly disappointed that when i asked for a restaurant recommendation, i was only directed to the hotel restaurant (although i found some great food just down the street). rooms were clean and modern.
Restaurant Tip:
Nice ramen place a few blocks away, yellow signs (no English or pictures).

A short walk to the train station - easy 45min commute to Kakunodate for the samurai houses. Reception is fluent in English and the Breakfast is decent. The restaurant was - however - closed for lunch and dinner.The rooms has decent size for Japanese standards and the onsen (spa) on the top floor is quite good after a day of sightseeing.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
45min by train to Kakunodate (Samurai houses / Bukeyashiki)

I enjoyed our 2 nights' stay in this hotel. It was lucky that we had our 2 big luggages stored in Tokyo as the room will be too small for them. Reception staff spoke little English but they were all helpful and friendly. Both indoor and outdoor onsen on the top floor was lovely.

Lovely small hotel with great onset
It is very close to the train station and close to great japanese restaurants. Great onsen which you would love and relax your day.

It was in the evening and the hotel is just 10 mins walk from the train station which makes things really easy. I specially love the coffee free at the lobby and also great onsen. Me and my friend spent 1 hour in the onsen and it was lovely and relax. Watching the moon and inside hot spring we did have great experience together.
