Quiet well appointed Hotel away from the Chiba JR

Chiba is far from a tourist mecca but the Keisei Miramare was more than able to cope with english speaking traveller looking for a weeks accomodation. The Hotel is large and well appointed with a good japanese/western breakfast and a restaurant or two. The rooms are adequate with clean bathrooms, internet and good sized beds, BBC news on cable. next door is the keisei line station with requisite lawson, food hall and shops. 10 mins walk to JR Chiba or 2 mins by train. Nearby urban monorail adds options.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Views from the top floor take in the port and distant Mt Fuji when the haze is clear, the breakfast restaurant stocks the english language JPN times and Int herald tribune for a leisurely morning coffee. Go early to get your eggs to order.

This is a very convenient place to stay at, if you are coming to Chiba for work. The hotel is located at one of the Keisei metro stations, and it is only 10 minutes walk away from JR Chiba Station. There is a supermarket within 2 minute walking distance, so you can get refreshments and fruits rather easily. Lots of food outlets. Perhaps a bonus for coffee drinkers is that there is a Starbucks store is at the G/F.

best priced option for Makuhari Messe visitors

Clean, friendly staff, very good value for money because of fast access to Makuhari Messe. Recommended for business travelers who have to attend a fair at Makuhari Messe. Location is outside Tokyo, should you plan to visit central Tokyo this might not be the right hotel for you.

Good hotel with excellent location

This hotel is probably one of the better hotels to stay at in Chiba, price-wise and location-wise. Although I got lost in the Tokyo subway for 2 hours from Kamata but the overall experience was a positive one. It is on the same building as the Keisei Chibachuo station. Mind you that Chibachou station is a Keisei station, not JR station so it doesn't show in the JR subway map. The closest JR station to this is the Chiba station which is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. SOGO and other department stores are located at the Chiba station.
7-11 is across the street, a cinema is on the same building as the hotel as well as C-One, Daisho, and KFC. McDonald's and Yoshinoya are located just across the hotel. Tesco is about 5-minute walk and Yoshikawa-koen Chiba Urban Monorail station is also within 10-minute walk.
I went to Makuhari Messe for my business trip of Tokyo Game Show and the best route that I found was Yoshikawa-koen -> Chiba-minato JR station -> Kaihin-Makuhari station.
I really like the hotel and the surrounding area, I wish I stayed longer!

Very nice hotel to stay, spacious room with affordable price. Also closer to Narita Aiport, We stay here a night before flying back home.
Free shuttle bus to Disneyland also very convenient. There are 2 buses going to Disneyland in the morning and 2 buses going back in the evening.
The hotel also connected with Chiba-Chuo Station, so you can easily bring big luggage.

Me and my companion had a nice stay and slept well due to the good service and accommodation. There was no problem encountered and so we enjoyed the two days at the hotel miramare. The sight was also nice.

this hotel is okay for its price. room is average in japan standard. the location is near chiba station, about 10 minutes walk. no wifi, only lan connection available.
