arrived late and just right before the reception close. very helpful staff helped us to locate the 3rd car park (the other two located right outside the hotel/basement were full) on the street in the dark. weird though there's no modem for internet access in room unless you request a cable modem from the reception, but still the staff managed to get me one even after the closing hour at 11pm.

this place was clean but old and a bit of a walk from anything. i thought the price was a bit exorbitant. the staff were very helpful though.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Climb Mt Fuji if you can. Amazing.

This hotel is quite good. A bit far from the train station. Around 10-15 minutes walk. Easy to find on the main street. Big room with balcony. Mt. Fuji view both from the balcony and from the street in front of the hotel. Big supermarket nearby. Many more along the way from the train station. Can also walk to the lake not very far with very nice view. Toilet a bit small. Clean and bright overall.

Overall a good value for the money with a decent sized room, lots of amenities in the bathroom, a fridge in the room and a shared microwave out near the elevators, they even provide a choice of different pillows in the lobby if you don't like the standard ones.
However, no credit cards so either pay in advance or bring cash.

We were a little unsure whether to book this 2.5 star accommodation via internet, however pleased we did as we were pleasantly surprised with the room & location of the hotel, even though it is not directly in the tourist trap area.
The Kawaguchiko train & bus station is a 12 minute walk, Kachi Kachi Ropeway Cablecar about 20 min walk, Department store about 10 mins walk. Mt Fuji can be seen from hotel.
Hotel provides pickup & dropoff to the station at set times.
Our room located on the top 4th floor at rear of hotel was of a very good size with a balcony. Everything in the room was all good including a kitchen sink & cooktop hotplate. Bathroom was adequate but small. All was somewhat dated but it was clean, practical & value for money. Housekeeping good & staff helpful & friendly enough. No bicycles available at hotel.

Lovely hotel with a reasonable price

This hotel offers a reasonable rate compared to other Mt Fuji hotels or resorts. The room is confortable and not too small. There is a small pantry in the room too. Try not to check in the hotel late. Because we have to take a cab from Kawaguchiko station around 930pm as there is no other public transport available. Although the reception told us that it is only 10 min walk to the hotel from the station, you are unable to locate the hotel at night espcially if you are first time visit the hotel.
