Good location, near JR Hakata Station, easy to find. Counter service not quite good, complicated to find location or tourist map, room not good bad smell in non-smoking room, toilet also. As I write on the subject, why second night, because we use this hotel as the base for go anywhere, then we go to Nagasaki by JR rail pass and back in one day. Nagasaki is very nice, sight seeing place not so far from Nagasaki Station , easy to street train to the interested point, then just one day we can see everything vey easy.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : As we said above, we use this hotel as a base, then sight seeing is the main, Nagasaki is a beautiful and histarical place that I need to recommended if you come to west of Japan, good weather, good interested place, ...

Environment good, near JR Hakata Station, near sight seeing place, near Shopping Center, Center for go to Kumamoto & Nagasaki. Non-smoking room look like smoking room, internet connection fail, Toilet very bad smell, that need improvement. Imformation for location map can not find, service counter not quite good. If don't mind with the hotel inside, location of this hotel very good to find anything, food, shopping, sight seeing, transport from here to Kumamoto, nagasaki very convenient. The price is a little bit high, breakfast not included, but easy to find taxi in front of hotel. If you need footpath food in night time, it very closed to hotel just walk to north side of hotel just five minutes .
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : From here you can have sight seeing at Kumamoto & Aso go and back just only one day by JR, If you have JR rail pass, it best.

Not much to complain about Just five minutes from Hakata Shinkansen Station and located close to Canal City. Convenience stores and restuarnts nearby, and close to public transportation. The room is small, but clean. Also there is no wireless internet, but the is LAN in each room and in the lobby.
