Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Quite remote and isolated from stores
Quiet and clean neighborhood
5.3
It's quite remote from downtown Fukuoka. Actually it's 5 subway stops from Tenjin and then you have to work around 10-15 mins.
It takes 7-8 mins walk to the nearest CVS(7/11) and nearest super market opens at 10 am.
One thing really bothered us was that they didn't provide any amenities like towels, soap, shampoo, etc.
So don't forget to pack your towels if you decide to stay here!
Restaurant Tip:
Not so many restaurants were nearby.

Great low price and Japanese style room with bath
Great price and very clean

A lot of exchange students from many countries live here long-term so it has a bit of a Youth Hostel feeling in the common rooms. There is a three day minimum. Very clean like having your own apartment (I lived in Japan for over 10 years) with tatami mat floors and a futon for a bed. Great value at an incredibly low price. Great kitchen for your use.
The downside is that it is a 10-15 minute walk from Fujisalki subway station and does not have any big sign to help you find it. Definitely print yourself a map and walk along the river which is across the street from it. It is a white building with a vending machine in front. Friendly place and you can save a lot of money staying here.

Low-priced guesthouse that is worth the money
Largely sized room, very hospitable and friendly owner, easy access to the Fujisaki station
7.3
Initially may seem remotely located, but from the close-by Fujisaki station nearly any location in Fukuoka can be reached conveniently. The area appears safe and quiet, and the owner of the guesthouse is truly affable and willing to assist in her best ability even though her English is not very extensive.

Such a sweet little hotel
clean, comfortable room, super friendly staff
8.7
I wish we could have stayed longer, although its not right in the main area, it is very close to a subway line and still very convenient.
Travel tip:
Try the pizza place just around the corner!

Cozy place, large room, and very nice staff
Extremely cheap for large room and private bathroom, free lan internet, cheap bike rentals available
8.3
this place is kinda more like a hostel b/c there's a shared kitchen and coin laundry (except we had our own bathrooms). the room was actually quite large compared to japan hotels. there was a tv (no english channels), free lan internet, really cheap (but old) bike rentals, and the manager on site was really nice and tried to help us out with things.
Restaurant Tip:
Omg, we loved the Yakitori stall down the block. Every stick was only 80 yen (about $1) and were soooo good! However, it's only take-out since there are no seats there. Also, there are some restaurants and grocery stores down an alley near Fujisaki station.
