We had a very comfortable four night stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the hotel is easy to find and centrally located.
The room is big and spacious and very clean. There is also a good, fast internet connection.
The hotel has bicycles which you can use for free/very little charge depending on the length of your stay, and it's a great way to get around Fukuoka.

Good for sakura sightseeing!
Very close to Ohori park, west park and Fukuoka citadel. Nice and sincere service.

we are so eager to see beautiful sakura in fukuoka, that's why we choose hotel sunline fukuoka ohori.
on check in the hotel, waiters are kind and eager to give us help and trip hints. although we speak poor japanese, still can have conversation using english.
room is big enough for us, clean & comfortable. by the way, there are restaurants & convenience stores nearby.
the only thing to complain is that the door key take no effect sometimes.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
1. There are famous Ra-men and U-don stores nearby. Ex: Nagahama and 木曾路.
2. You may go to parks by foot.

stayed there 2 nights and we really can't say anything bad about the hotel. it's well located next to a subway station, a nice big park and even a noh theater! room was clean and we didn't to ask for anything. one thing that was negativeis the lack of wifi (except if your carrier is softbank).

If I were you, I would find a better place to stay. You are probably able to find another place with same money.
Only good thing is that it takes 1 minute from a subway station.

Good price and location
Indian restaurant across the street, near the subway line, easy walk to Ohori Park.

there is a good indian restaurant across the street and it is close to the ohori subway station. we enjoyed exploring the ruins in ohori park. the ocean is a few subways stops away. the rooms are clean and comfortable. they are not big rooms but met our needs. internet connection was easy. i like their breakfast, too.

We actually left another hotel we were staying in during our time in Fukuoka because we grew weary of the add ons, the lack of any internet access etc etc. The Sunline a third of the cost and five times the value. From the moment we walked in, we were met with very helpful staff - four of whom spoke wonderful English. We arrived early and asked if they could hold our bags for us. No problem - in fact upon our return the bags were already in our room. The room was very well appointed and the twin room was spacious in terms of the other twins we stayed at in Japan. The subway stop was literally half a block down the street and it was a very easy connection to the airport and to the Shinkansen. Much easier than the chaos of Tanjin station. In a heartbeat I would stay at this hotel again.
