Ryokan style room, can't access wifi at room
free hot spring, large room, nice service, nice breakfast
Nice clean quiet ryokan style room, but the futon is not typical traditional futon mattress, it more like a thin foam mattress which i found very hard to sleep on, eventually i drag another spare of mattress from closet and double layer it for getting in to sleeping. Our room is located on the end of whole floor, which unable to detect wifi, we only recieved wifi in the dinning room area which is another end of the floor. The good thing is free hot spring, large room, nice service, and nice breakfast. Good location if you plan to head Gotemba or lake Kawaguchiko for a day trip.

Far away
Nice mineral bath
Bad service, would not go again. Traditional Japaneese breakfast is served. If you do not like it there are several cafes nearby. 30 min by bus from the ropeway, nothing to do in town. Shops close early. Restaurants and cafeas close for siesta.

Location okay, spacious room
Spacious room, choice of indoor and outdoor onsen
We enjoyed our stay at this Ryokan. Location was a bit out of the way - it was a bit of a walk after getting off the bus. The Ryokan was a bit difficult to find as there was no English signboard outside to indicate its name. We had to show strangers walking nearby a copy of the name written in Japanese. There was more than sufficient green tea bags in a jar which were left on the coffee table together with a teapot and some jelly like sweets which was a nice gesture. A teapot for boiling water was nearby. All in all the Ryokan was a pleasant place to stay.
