Home-cooked breakfast and dinner they served was fantastic. Excellent quality and beautifully served.
The hotel is ran by an old couple. They're very attentive and caring to the point stay felt more like staying with distant Japanese relatives than a hotel.

I was looking for a day away from business travels and interested in experiencing a Japanese style B&B. Found this hotel on Agoda and enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was very kind and helpful, was able to communicate with them via tablet with translation software. Cant wait to go back and spend more time.. Great hot springs at the hotel to enjoy...

Not worth the $. Limited English and directions.

very bad directions that we were working from. we even knocked on a random house to ask where the hotel was. the hotel sign was all in japanese and the owners only speak japanese.
you have to walk cautiously up a 2 way road with not much of a shoulder.
central in hakone if you want to stay in gora.
quite authentic but we expected much better for 2 nights at nearly.
enjoyed sleeping with the windows open and also the onsen but sadly wouldn't recommend to our friends.

PLace is old and the kimonos smells cold tobacco. The breakfast so so and even if AGoda has charged us for a dinner, the old lady asks us for another 30 000 yens each. She would'n give the wi fi pass word, the worst place we had to stay in after 3 weeks in Japan; To avoid at any price.

After one hour of bus from Odawara station, I leave bus after museum of Petit prince bus top. I can see a supermarket and take small road behind it. After 200 meter a small street climbing to hotel. Entry after the car park. Not easy to find because all words are japaneese. I leave my shoes at entry and an old woman make my checkin. She show me the room and commun bathroom where is located Onzen. There are 2 Onzen then check if male/female at entry because they switch during the day. No dinner and hotel is closed at 8 P.M. Food are available in supermarket. Breakfast at 8 a.m. Don't be late because it is cooked for this time
Very good place to take rest and visit this place
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Many visit arounf Hakone mountain like lake Ashi, hot water source and Fujiyama between 2 pm and 2:30 pm. Before and after it is too cloudly

A little bit remote but the service and environmen

It's a good place, not too modern but very japanese style resort. it's clean, and very close to countryside. But the spring is a little bit small. The staff is not so good in english.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you would like to visit most of the museums, strongly suggest to stay Hakone for 2 nights. Some transportation esp the ship, close very early 4-5pm sth. The shops closed very early too, 6pm sth.

The hotel is up in the mountain. We had to take a bus from Odawara Station for almost an hour to get there. Remember to either print out your Agoda receipt or mention Agoda to the staff. The old lady there, who speaks a bit of English, was really surprised to see us when we arrived. We thought our booking didn't go through, but after a bit of sorting through, she was very friendly. She gave us great tips on things to do in the area. The onsen was fabulous. They switch the male and female bath so you get to experience both baths. We wouldn't stay there again just because we didn't have a car. If you drive, it would be a great place to stay.

เป็นโรงแรมที่อาหารอร่อยมาก มีอาหารบริการ 2 มื้อ ตกแต่งได้สวยงาม แต่ข้อเสีย 1)การเดินทางมาที่นี้ไม่ง่ายเลย ภาษามีแต่ภาษาญี่ปุ่น ป้ายบอกทางก็มีแต่ญี่ปุ่น กว่าจะไปถูกก็เอาเรื่องน่าดู 2)ไม่มี Internet มีแต่ Computor ส่วนกลาง 3)ระบบที่นี้เป็นแบบ Manual ดังนั้นอย่าลืมปริ้นใบจองไปเด็ดขาด ไม่งั้นจะสื่อสารกับเค้ายากมาก และถ้าให้ดีต้องปริ้นภาษาญี่ปุ่นไปด้วยจะเข้าใจง่าย

我预定的时候说明是包含晚餐的，以为按人头算餐，所以我才定了两间2000多的房间，本来我们是三个人带一个小孩子，是可以定三人间的。但最后只含了早餐。不包含晚餐根本不值这个价钱！而且现在是淡季，酒店根本就没这么贵！酒店感觉也一般，不值这个价钱，而且只有我们几个人入住，那么多空房，还给了我们一件很小的房间。说实话，不太满意。而且离火车站很远，我们打车到酒店奖金半小时，花了人民币！幸好箱根的景色不错，但家人对于酒店不满意，所以美中不足！
Restaurant Tip:
一般温泉酒店都含晚餐，可这家居然不含！我觉得根本就不是不含，而是她们感觉入住的人少，根本没给做！
