Great location, great onsens

Located a short distance from ferry easily walkable and just off main market street. Reception was excellent. Room was spacious, clean and had great view of tori gate. The onsens are amazing and well worth morning and evening visits. Great breakfast service. Friendly staff. I'd stay again.
Restaurant Tip:
There are not many restaurants open after 8pm outside of the hotels. But there are a few and they are worth hunting down in order to talk to and meet locals and learn why they moved from the mainland to this wonderful small islands. Prices are good.

Amazing Ryokan!

We stayed in a Japanese style room just for one night but we make the most of the experience. We enjoyed the onsen that has views of the ocean and tori and after that we were served a full Japanese dinner feast. Rooms were comfortable and spacious.
Also it is located walking distance from main attractions
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The view of the floating Tori just after sunset is not to be missed.

Onsen on 2 floors, comfortable spacious room with modern en-suite, charming staff & beautiful entrance/lobby

Very pleased with this Traditional Hotel, Manager very kindly accomodated me all afternoon & evening with discounted dinner & night tarrif til the suspended ferry service to mainland was resumed at 7.45pm
It was a delight to have Miyajima Island all to myself when there were no Day Trippers to spoil it. I think the deer appreciated the peace too!
Hotel Feature Tip:
Worth the extra cost for the Onsen. Even in the heat of summer it was a delight to luxuriate in the hot water and enjoy the views.

if you are looking to stay on the island of miyajima this place is very romantic with excellent staff. each room has a small enclosed patio with a view of the ocean. they have the option of private baths if you would like to do a couples activity that most traditional baths don't lend themselves to. breakfast and dinner can be eaten at the hotel if you have reserved them ahead of time. the breakfast is a traditional japanese breakfast with miso soup, rice, and fish.

C'est un Ryocan merveilleusement situé dans le respect scrupuleux des traditions japonaises avec un bain public magnifique avec vue sur la baie et la célèbre torii du temple Itsukushima.
