location, location, location, onsen and sauna, good rate, clean room
our bed wasn't very comfortable The Dormy Inn is a good budget hotel in Hiroshima. The location is great - about 2 blocks from a monorail stop and a 5 minute walk to the Peace Memorial or to good dining and entertainment. They also have a really nice onsen and sauna on the top floor of the building that's free to use for guests.

The rooms are comfortable and geared towards the business and budget conscious traveller. There are microwave ovens on each floor so that you can heat up your own food. Free internet access available at the lobby. The best part is that the hotel offers one of the few baths in Hiroshima. The male baths include a cold water and outdoor baths whereas the woman has a mist sauna, jacuzzi and hot bath. The street car station was nearby so access was not a problem. No views - either facing the street or the wall of the next building Dormy Inn has no views to offer the guests but it compensates adequately with the baths, comfortable rooms that comes with a decent sink on top of the minibar so if you wanted to prepare a simple meal i.e. assembling items bought from the convenience stores, you can. It is located opposite the ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel so you can also enjoy the eateries around the two hotels, ranging from conveyor belt sushi to Japanese bistros. Convenience stores are located on both sides of the street that Dormy Inn is located. There is also a UCC cafe that serves reasonable breakfast sets round the corner from Dormy Inn. The Inn is also within walking distance to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial and Museum.
