What was best about this (although it is hard to get there from JR station) is that it was the perfect distance to walk to the Peace Memorial Park, take a stroll around there early in the morning, then take the street-tram to Miyajima before the crowds got there (and see the sea-Torii prior to low tide, then spend the rest of the day on Miyajima seeing the Torii at low-tide (in mud but you can walk out to it), then get back to the Peace Park to see the museum before returning for dinner near the hotel.
- Restaurant Tip : I don't like Hiroshima style okonomiyaki but they are famous and different. There are several little corner cafes/restaurants that make it in front of you.
