It's very close to JR Otaru station. You'll see the hotel as soon as you step out of the station.
The public bath (onsen) is very good, in term of decoration, not sure about the water properties though.
The room is quite spacious compared to japanese standard. Stylish and well decorated room.
Though the hotel is located very close to JR Otaru station. It's quite a distance of other attractions such the canal and city center.
We arrived at the hotel and quite impressed with the room's decoration. The room is clean, as it is normally do in japan, but more spacious. The public bath was more that we expected. The close proximity to the JR station let us retired our luggage and save our times running around to find its location.
Though it's not located next to the canal like many other hotels in Otaru, I still found it a reasonable walking time to other attractions. But for me, its location next to JR station was my first priority as we arrived by train.
If you like to soak yourself after a long trip, its public bath can serve you very well with 2 indoor baths and 2 semi-outdoor baths. There are also free washing machines, but you still have to pay for the dryer.
The price was reasonable, but probably it was not in high season for our visit and there was some kind of promotion.
