the hotel staff is very warm and welcoming, feel like home
is very quite, good place to relax
if you are looking for a place to relax, this is a great place to go.
the hotel is locate at the bottom of the "5 colour hot spring" mountain, if you like driving and hot spring, you can drive up there for it, the route to go up is pretty nice.
and the hotel also very close to a town, where you can have very local food.
the price is not expensive at all, recommend stay even not during summer or winter

good food,
good english,
good service,
close to ski site,
close to hot springs, and
close to station.
inn keeper tried to rip us off.
all in all it was a good stay, well worth the money spent.
The inn keeper did semi-try to rip us off, as first we booked 1 night on agoda and we decided we wanted to stay another day so we asked the inn keeper if we could. he quoted the price as almost double, and we said we would think about it, and on breakfast the next day he tried to bring down the price, but it was still a rip-off. so we ended up booking thru agoda again which was kind of a hassle but it ended up a lot cheaper than the rates he offered us there.
But all in all it was a good stay and the food was nice, and they were helpful.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : ski slopes

service was great, we required pick up from the ski site which was able 30mins away and the inn keeper was able to organise a ride for us.
the inn keeper was also able to speak good english which was good as it made organising transport a lot easier.
We were also able to get picked up and delivered from the station. (at first we didnt know and taxi'ed it to the price which cost us approx 2000yens - 10ish min ride)
Food there was also nice, served well and fresh, also offered was a free bath house facility for some relaxation after a long day of snowboarding
Although the inn keeper was nice and all, he tried to upsell a lot nicely saying (rip us off in a way), so its good to know the prices and the rates u are willing to pay or else the niceness of the place may suck u right in =D!
Overall i believe my money was well spent at Freedom Inn, service was nice, food was nice, atmosphere was nice.
Another con about the place was it wasnt a ensuite, but the bath and toilets were quite conviently located down the hallway
But they did also offer cheaper lift passes, to the "Grand Hirafu" ski resort only, but it was bout a saving of 1000-2000yens which is quite a bit, the delivery and pick up from the ski site made it well worth the stay.
Oh and just so that your not mistaken, there is also a closer ski site at "Hanazono - able to use the ski pass there" which was a easy 5-10min walk or 2-3min drive from the inn, but that part of the "Grand Hirafu - ski resort" closes at able 5pm while the other side that we ski'ed at allowed us to ski till 8:00pm.
Also located around there was some ski shops (FUSION) that allowed the hire of gear after 4:30pm -> next day 8pm (for 1 day hire rate) well worth it.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Niseko ski resort located down the block - (cheap Grand Hirafu(1 of the 3 ski resorts of Niseko) ski passes available at the inn)
