Rooms were clean and neat and felt very new. A little difficult to find the place. The Chalets at Country Resort Niseko exceeded our expectations. The place we got had 3 bedrooms in the second floor and a shower, and a bedroom, kitchen, living room and small bedroom on the first floor, as well as a laundry room. The facilities in the house were very new. The rooms were clean and neat as well. The only drawback was that it was a little difficult to find the place.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The hot air balloon attraction near this hotel is a must see!

The fully furnished chalet and full kitchen.
No one to bug you.
Super internet speed - No signboard that leads you to the place and GPS will NOT bring you there!
- they only have cell phone no to the place so u either can't get thru or gets redirected.
- u really really really need a car If you are a big family, this place is for you. We booked a two bedroom chalet but got a 4 bedroom one instead. The house is lovely and fully furnished. We had a wonderful stay.
HOWEVER, finding the place was a total nightmare. The person I was emailing to gave me the WRONG cell no by a single digit so I could not get thru and no one in the area knew the place. Later we found out it was rather deep in so you had your privacy but will be inconvenient if no transportation. Pls buy groceries as it is a far walk and they have a full kitchen.
We had to call Agoda to get the correct number. But once that part was over, the stay was wonderful.
Be warned though, many places are closed but if you are there to enjoy the countryside and air, then this is perfect. We had a car so had a nice time discovering the place. Bring insect repellant as there are a gazillion bugs. We wondered why they had a screen on the windows, we knew, when we tried having a bbq.
There us a lovely restaurant at the Niseko Adventure Centre, where you can also arrange for trekking, mountain climbing and rafting. Sam, the manager at Chalets also organises rafting and such if you ask him.
To get there, look for the sign Izumiya (they develop several properties there) and 2 huge diamond logos on the road, about 800 meters from the Lawson Store, which is the phone no, you had to key into your GPS to get to Niseko! (remember, cell nos don't work with GPS...). After you turn in, and another 800m remember to look for a VERY tiny sign on the right, that says "Country Resort". Better still, get the correct no from Agoda, and call them to pick you up from Lawson, if you can get thru the cell, that is
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Niseko during summer is full of water activities like rafting. There is para gliding, hiking.

Driving direction from the airport, you take route 276 all the way to Lake Shikotsuko (about 30-40 mins from Chitose Airport) and over Bifue pass (about 60-70 mins from Chitose Airport) to get to Kutchan.
