The luxurious Hotel Nikko Kanazawa Sky Hotel provide guests a Western sense of elegance through its architecture and its decor. At 130 metres in hight, this hotel is the highest in the Hokuriku area. Comfortably situated within the center of Kanazawa, many of the tourist destinations are within short walking distance of this hotel. The beauty of this hotel’s design can easily be seen by the cascading stairway in the lobby and this style is also conveyed in the decor of the rooms. Gorgeous view, helpful staff

Beds are rather hard, though not unusually for Japan.

Excellent location since it's across from the train station, which is the transportation hub of the tourist community. The lobby and the pricey Italian restaurant are gorgeous in an endearingly quirky way. In bad weather, use the underground passage from the station all the way to the lobby. I found my pillow uncomfortable and the staff offered me an assortment of different styles to choose from instead.
