Cindy T. Groups Singapore, July 02, 2011	Hotel with onsen Enjoyable onsen and helpful staff 8 Hotel has a beautiful and big lobby. It would be good if there is direct access via elevator from lobby to hotel room instead of escalator to 3rd floor and walking a passage way.
Moritz B. Families with young children Germany, June 29, 2011	Large hotel mainly catering to the elderly friendly service, nice onsen, in easy reach from the station 8 Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Still, we were a bit surprised to be almost the only young people in this huge hotel. It seems this hotel is mainly catering to coach tours of pensioneers. But our little family was treated very friendly by the staff. The room pleasant and quite spacious, we enjoyed the onsen and once had a decent sushi dinner in the basement (the choice in town is not great). The location is convenient about in the middle between the train station and the beginning of the steps up to the shrine. Note that there is internet only in the main lobby. Sightseeing/Attractions Tip: Most people will come to visit the shrine Kompira up the hill, which is a great walk. Do try the iced amasake on your way. We found the paintings on the sliding doors in the building below the main shrine very fascinating. By contrast, climbing all the way up to the top is only worth it, if the weather is fine, there is not much to see up there.

Après une remarque sur l'odeur de tabac froid sentie à notre arrivée dans la chambre, proposition nous a été faite de changer de chambre et après notre refus, celle-ci et la vue nous plaisaient, le maximum a été fait pour aérer et désodoriser. Espaces de circulation, lobby et salles de breakfast de grande taille, mention particulière pour le bain public/onsen très complet et également de taille supérieure à la moyenne. Après un dernier mot d'excuse à notre départ pour le problème d'odeur de tabac, nous avons été ramenés gracieusement en voiture jusqu'à la gare
