This resort is directly on the waterfront with striking views of Kinko bay and the Sakurajima volcano. Most rooms sport a spectacular view from their own private balconies. The large rooms are elegantly decorated and are also equipped with all modern facilities, including satellite TV. The hotel offers Western and Shinto style wedding halls, conference rooms, an outdoor swimming pool and natural hot spring baths. On-site restaurants include a Japanese restaurant and a Western cafe. The Tokyu Hotel, Kagoshima, is just a 15-minute drive from the railway station and around 80 minutes from the airport whilst the Nokyo Kaikan-mae Bus Terminal is just round the corner. Guests should visit the Kagoshima Aquarium and Shiroyama Observatory which are easily assessible from the hotel. Whether visiting the area for business or holiday, the hotel provides a relaxing stay.

Very comfortable stay

We spent two nights at Rembrandt and tour around Kagoshima and Sakurajima. A quiet and peaceful city with great shopping areas at downtown. This hotel provides all sorts of convenience during our stay including nice breakfast, fast network, friendly staff and free parking. And at an affordable price.

Lovely hotel and good service

Stayed 7 days. A great view of Sakurajima in the balcony of the bay view room. Breakfast is good. Staff are very helpful and nice.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Location is good of the view of Sakurajima. The hotel is clean. Staff are nice. Food are good in the hotel.
The price is reasonable.

Great view of the volcano
The room was decently sized and the staff was very nice

The Restaurant Hibiscus was very nice, a limited menu, but good food and decently priced. The staff was very kind and the location was great for shots of the volcano. Although, the hotels spa and pool were not very well kept. They looked very dirty.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go to Sakurajima island. There is a ferry right next to the hotel (also a bus stop into Kagoshima-chuo). The island has lots of cats, a park, an onsen, and lots of other things I didnt even get a chance to do. plan to stay a few hours.
