nice room.

not enough variety of restaurants.

the prince hotel was a very fancy hotel in hakone-en. It had a lot of Japanese guests however did not have many foreigners. The room was nice and Western style, very standard for a 5 star hotel. The restaurants were lacking in choice, there was only the option of the hotel's restaurants which were expensive and did not fit in with our budget. We were forced to eat at them. The hotel was more like a resort style. Overall, enjoyed our stay.

Open air onsen

The hotel is way too far from everything.

The only entertainment in the hotel after 4pm is onsen. The food in the hotel is expensive and not that good but since we can't get out without a car there's no choice.

Eat at shops next to the aquarium before 5:00 pm when they all close-up for the night, or bring food with you to eat in the room.

Travel tip : Receive a 2000 Yen voucher if you choose to not have housekeeping make up your room if you stay two or more nights. Good Deal!
