The cost for staying at the b hotel in Kobe was surpricingly low and the quality of the hotel in the top. Especially we found the bathroom installion so perfect. The hotel is just in the middle of Sanomiya, Kobe, no distance to train or anything. Free coffee in the Front room, not seen for years in a hotel. The personel were so kind and helpful.
We can't find any negative points.
After we have left Kobe, where we stayed during the years 2001 - 2003, we have been back once and now again. Last time we had a stay at another hotel (123) and we were not satisfied, even of its central placement. So this time I scanned the internet for hotels in Kobe and already on the computer I saw, here is some special at hotel b and I booked in advance. Therefore we (my wife and I) were more than normal impressed, when we saw the facilities of the hotel as well as the central position on the main street of Kobe. And from the first minute we were so positive received by the Front Desk personel, that since years we have not seen similar care for the guests. And the room was bigger and better than what we usually see in Japan. We can also recommend other visitors of Japan to stay a longer periode in Kobe, there are so many interesting things to see in that town, only to mention two things, Kitte Kobe (North of the town) and the harbour area. At the same time Kobe is so central in Kansei that many daily tours can be made from there to Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima and many more places.
See you in Kobe again.

good location, friendly staff, good sized rooms
The room was rather hot and none of the windows opened.
We were delighted with our choice of the B Kobe hotel for our 2 night stay. It was bright, modern and clean. The staff were very helpful and spoke good English. There was free internet access in the lobby with the option of hiring a laptop for 1000yen for 2 days.Our room was large by Japanese standards with 2 double beds and a great shower room.The situation was convenient for all the sights and shopping but was also quiet at night.Free coffee was available in the lobby all day. All in all we enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again.
Hotel Feature Tip : Breakfst seemed expensive so we went to one of the many nearby coffee shops for a morning seto each day which was much better value
