Computer terminal is 100 Yen for ten minutes, but it kicks you off after about 8 and a half minutes. You have to put in another 100 Yen or you are frozen out.
- Restaurant Tip : Check out the breakfast and lunch buffet over at the Kyoto Granvia Hotel. All you can eat buffet for 2,500 Yen.

It is a good decision if you do not care much where to sleep and spend most of the day sighseeing, but it is not a relaxing stay.

Ensuite is typical of Japan Hotel: a pre-fabricated module with shower over 1/2 length bath, basin and toilet with all the features.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Must sees are the 'Golden Pavillion' in Kyoto, Nara (and stay here if you like a more laid bac small town) and Himeji-jo castle

I hadn't known what 'standard' size in Japan meant, and I thought 'really how small can small be?' and I realized wow, small means small. But for the cost it was not bad. It was clean too but everything in Japan is clean except for some tourist area public toilets.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : 5 minute or so walk to Kyoto station!

Very convenient to the Bus Lines and Train Station as well, which was a big plus for us.
We stayed during the height of the Cherry Blossom season (first week of April) and stayed Wednesday through Friday which was perfect. If we travel to Kyoto again we would definitely look into booking a room here because everyone was very pleased with the staff and the services at the APA.
- Travel tip : Convenient location for Bus and Train Lines.

Out of the Kyoto station, walk left for 500 meters and turn left down a little street and you're there.
Not much to do in the area but good for access to subway/buses.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Walk back out the street and head away from the rail line. On the corner there are some stairs leading down to a great little Japanese restaurant!
