This economy class hotel, situated in one-kilometer from the city center, is located near JR Kyoto Train Station. Guests can easily access the Kinkakuji Temple, the Kiyomizu Temple, Kyoto Imperial Palace, Nijojo Castle and Heian Shrine. Lake Biwa and Mount Hieizan are also nearby. The hotel is just five minutes from JR Kyoto Station by taxi and walking distance from several shops, restaurants and cocktail lounges. The property is five-kilometres from the Kyoto International Congress Hall. The hotel offers modern rooms that are decorated with a calming theme that uses muted hues and customary decoration to promote a sense of peace. Guests can enjoy delicious meals at the on-site Bansantei Restaurant. The Court Hotel is perfect for travelers that want accommodation for an affordable price.

Right on the bus line, next to the Gion District, and close to major attractions.

The Court Hotel is tucked away on a little side street, which was a little tricky to find, but once we got there it was great. The bus line was right around the corner, easy to use, and took us everywhere we wanted to go. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. There are laundry facilities and a fabulous breakfast included with the room rate. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was the smallest of all the hotels we stayed in, there was no formal closet, but the room was spacious enough for us and more than adequate.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The hotel is a short bus ride to Gion, Nijo Castle, and the Golden Pavilion. The city is easy to navigate and is just beautiful. It is one of our favorite cities to visit.

within walking distance to the main shopping and dinning areas of central Kyoto. Overall, conveniently located just off the main North-South avenue running through the center of town.

Like the average Japanese3 star hotel, the double room was small. The bathroom could have been cleaned a bit more thoroughly. It was the typical spaceship plastic mold in many compact tourist class japanese hotel.

For the location, it was good. It was less than what we expected for the price we paid. As we were there just before the peak of sakura season, it was fully booked. The staff was effcicient but had no warmth. Breakfast became monotonous by day 3. However, even though it was close to a major street, the quiet was a welcome change after a day of sight seeing.

Excellent location, good breakfast, close to main train station, and various restaurants around the hotel

Small rooms and small bathroom

The hotel is very well located close to all main bus routes. Rooms are very clean and ecstatic. Friendly staff ready to help. Good breakfast. Has facilities for washing clothes. The price is very reasonable. Around the hotels are several restaurants of various prices and various kitchens styles as well as 24 hours supermarket and a "99 shop" of cheap and good food. The hotel is 10 minutes by taxi from the main train station.

Restaurant Tip : Nearby are several restaurants of different types of food.
