Just stayed overnight, but I like the cleanliness of the room, amenities and location of the hotel which is just across the JR train station.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
When in Kyoto, it would be better to travel during spring or autumn. The weather is just the right temperature plus great sightseeing locations.

Perfect location with great service

It was our first trip to kyoto. The hotel has made our travel plan much easier by providing different travel itineraries at the lobby. The hotel was conveniently located just opposite the JR and bus station so getting around was no hassle. Hotel staffs were very helpful and courteous. Female guests were given two welcome gifts such as facial masks, lotion and other amenities. I have no complaints about this hotel and would definitely go back to this hotel if I ever visit kyoto again.

the hotel was easily found from the train station. most staff spoke very good english and were very helpful. my original fear on room size (being australian) was quickly allayed as the layout was amazing. the room was immaculate and maintained that way each day. the only issue we had was the coffee shop on the ground floor (possibly not a part of the hotel?) asked my wife to leave whilst she was waiting for me. we had intended to have a coffee there but after that we did not.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Autumn leaves at the local temples. Absolutely brilliant

Small room with huge steps in bathroom

Incredibly small room and very hard to find. The sign in English is not visible until you are at the entryway of the hotel--and no one on on the street knew it by name....
Would like to have know ahead of time there is a huge step into the bathroom and other huge step to get into tub
Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating

Very convenient location with shops and restaurants just a few minutes walk in the area. The receptionists are very friendly. The hotel front desk has all travel guidance along with recommended travel courses.
This hotel is very clean and it has self service laundry and softdrink machines. The family mart convenience store is just a few minute walk if you need beer/liquor/snack at night.

the hotel is very closed to the railway station, just opposite and therefore very convenient.
for moving around in kyoto, taking a bus, a train or the metro. the staff was very friendly and for a change with a relatively high english level...something not evident to find in japan.
the room was however quite small for two people: small bed, tiny bathroom, no closet.
