I stayed in this hotel for the first time. The location of the hotel is very good, just behind Kyoto station. Next to Kyoto tower. The hotel is reasonable prices, still expensive but not as expensive as other hotels. The rooms are small but internet works fine.

Great Location
It is located infront of Kyoto Station, has many restaurants and bars around, and is easy to find.

The rooms of the hotel are a little small, but it has a nice and comfortable bed. What makes this hotel amazing is the fact that the staff tries to help you as best as they can. They gave me directions to some of the more famous sites in Kyoto and kept replenishing my goodies package. The rooms are really nice. They are small by American standards, but by Japan standards it was a normal size room.
Shopping Tip:
There is a huge mall in the street behind the hotel, and there is another mall inside Kyoto station. Both of these are about a 2 minute walk away from the hotel! Both the station and the mall have restaurants in which you can enjoy a variety of cuisines!

Small room with huge steps in bathroom

Incredibly small room and very hard to find. The sign in English is not visible until you are at the entryway of the hotel--and no one on on the street knew it by name....
Would like to have know ahead of time there is a huge step into the bathroom and other huge step to get into tub
Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating

Be sure to get breakfast ticket, even if you think you won't use it--you might

Nice Hotel, Always Use

I always use this hotel when I stay in Kyoto. It is excellently located, just 2 minutes from Kyoto Station. Price is good, service is great. All-round, great experience everytime.

great location but the room has some smell

the air conditioning is good and the room is comfortable. behind the hotel there is a very big department store. it is very convinent for shopping and dinging. but after 2300. it is difficult to find something to eat. convinent store is the only choice.

yodobashi is a good shopping place which is behind the hotel

The front door of this hotel is within 10 steps from the exit of Kyoto station. You can pay 500 dollars on first floor for simple bearkfast. The most improtance, you can buy the presents for your family and firends next to the hotel.

you can buy the presents for your family and firends next to the hotel. The stuffs are all about Kyoto's charateristics ole style things. It really worth buying when you are traveling this kind of city.

Hotel was really convenient in terms of location. Right opposite the main Kyoto train station. Rooms had free internet - you need to bring your own little router if you want wifi. Rooms were big - especially by Japanese standard. Hotel doesn't offer much in terms of food but lots just around the corner. Near BIC camera for those looking to buy electronics.

BIC camera is 3min walk away

It is a hotel which owns a wonderful location!
Good loction and very close to Kyoto station

the hotel is neat and clean. the receptions are warm and professional. the hotel is very close to kyoto bus station and several different transportations, such as airport bus, jr, local trains. i will definitely choose this hotel again if i have another trip to kyoto. also, it is very close to kyoto tower. i like it.

There is a big department store in the Kyoto station (about 5 min walk).
