It was the best hotel in our 11 days stay in Japan. The staff are really nice, and the hotel balcony is amazing, and showed the 5 stars quality. The room is really good, with nice bathroom.

Excellent hotel right in the middle of the suburbs of Kyoto and a 5 minute walk to the Imperial Palace. It really gives you a sense of the daily life style of the people of Kyoto when one walks outside the hotel

This was very clean and spacious room.
Great room size, food was tasty, very attentive staff.

The room was clean and spacious. They were able to accommodate an extra bed for an additional guest. The food was delicious, however very pricey for room service. The restaurants are not very child friendly, there was no "breakfast" restaurant (however the staff recommended a great coffee shop for breakfast close by). It was unfortunate that the pool was only available in the summer months. Loved Kyoto, would definitely come back to this hotel.

The staff was very friendly and always looking to assist you. We were about to walk out in the rain unequipped and one staff member came running after us to hand us umbrellas.

this time live in there, over all is very good...but go to subway not very fast, need walk around 10 - 15 mins

lobby coffee shop, cake so yummy and coffee is very good...want try more next time.
but no swimming pool....can not swim in hotel
i think next time i will go this hotel again.

The staff are very nice and concern on the need of customer. Although it is located at subway by foot about 5 mins，there is free shuttle bus between subway and hotel. There are some restaurants in hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Even though the location is a little off the pace, there is a shuttle or an inexpensive taxi ride to main town area.
The staff were exceptional, from the doorman to the bar and restaurant staff.
Would definitely be staying at the Brighton again.

A very comfortable and enjoyable stay.
