The hotel was lovely, but the rooms were large and we had a view of the station. We walked to the Geisher district and it was a nice sunny day and got the train back, next time we need to pay attention to the train and get the local not the express. We passed our station and had to double back. Loved using the JR pass will buy that again.
- Hotel Feature Tip : The Kyoto Tower was right above us and after they mixed up our rooms they gave us free tickets for the tower.

Good souvenir and good value shops in basemenet level under Tower.
- Restaurant Tip : Great Chinese restaurant in basement of tower, great food and great value.
