Across the street from Kyoto station and has Kyoto Tower conected to it We loved the location and the room was perfect for our family...2 adults and 2 kids

Location, complimentary tower ticket. Good-sized room on 8th floor. Clean, with fridge air-conditioning and tea-making facility. However, only green tea supplied! No internet or Wi-Fi facility. Breakfast not included. (Other hotels included breakfast for similar rates but location less optimal.)Convenient location for buses, Kyoto station and subway. One complimentary ticket for Kyoto tower included.

Very good location being just in front of the station. One can see the big sign immediately as you exit from the station. Good location as we could see the Hotel sign immediately as we leave the station. The rooms are big and nice for Japan standard.Only setback is the noisiness from the streets. The police and ambulance sirens are constantly waking us up. Good chinese restaurant in the basement - good valus for money. Very good shopping in the building next door to buy local souveniors and probbaly cheapest in the area.

Good location, just opposite the railway, kind reception, not large single room, but with all facilities, good restaurants, free entrance to the Tower and a coupon for free drink. I found no weaknesses. For someone the room would be too small, but I like small rooms, which are clean and comfortable. As I've already mentioned the hotel has very good location. Its restaurants are affordable and offer tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner. I was really surprised to find, that in lounge bar you can have very good lunch with soup, main course, salad buffet, selection of fresh fruit, cold tea and coffee and warm coffee for as little as 1.050 Japanese yens. The service is quick, kind and efficient. They say Japan is an expensive country, but not at Kyoto Tower Hotel!
Shopping Tip : I propose Kyoto Tower Hotel to everyone.

Great location, nice staff. Rooms are very small and crowded but nice to have a couch.

The hotel was lovely, but the rooms were large and we had a view of the station. We walked to the Geisher district and it was a nice sunny day and got the train back, next time we need to pay attention to the train and get the local not the express. We passed our station and had to double back. Loved using the JR pass will buy that again.
Hotel Feature Tip : The Kyoto Tower was right above us and after they mixed up our rooms they gave us free tickets for the tower.

Good souvenir and good value shops in basemenet level under Tower.
Restaurant Tip : Great Chinese restaurant in basement of tower, great food and great value.
