Very good service, the rooms are relatively big for a Japanese hotel of this price category. Nice breakfast buffet. Very friendly staff. None really, maybe a little hard to find compared to the other hotels in the station area, which are mostly right across from the station square. We visit Kyoto and other Japanese cities for business every year. This hotel is perfect for our needs since it is close to the station rather than to the tourist attractions. It is in a quieter side street about 5 minutes (walk) from the station so it is not too noisy either. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is smallish and not overly luxurious but really good value for the low price (through Agoda). The breakfast buffet is good and the breakfast room bright and friendly. Internet access is available in all rooms (the cord has to be obtained from the reception) and I believe it was free of charge.

Small room, tiny bathroom. This hotel is reasonably priced and reasonably close to the bus stops, it was reasonably clean but the rooms were small and the bathroom so tiny that you could hear people knocking their elbows on their bathroom walls while showering! My partner 5.11'ft and his head almost touched the ceiling! The bed, though firm was the softest we had experienced out of all the hotels we stayed at which is very important after a long busy day of sightseeing. The price was ok but I would go elsewhere in the future. T&S from Perth

If you are interested in seeing Kyoto, and not in luxury hotels, this is the place. The staff is friendly and helpful about hotel amenities as well as seeing the Kyoto area.
