We stayed in a twin room and it's really spacious. The scenery was very nice. Moreover, you have 4 restaurants to choose for your breakfast. The free shuttle bus schedule is too sparse and you have to take a taxi back to the hotel from Otsu JR Station, it costs about JPY1,100. The transportation is not that convenience.

Well, I have to say that the stay in Prince hotel Otsu was awesome. I was totally suprised by the lake view, very impressive. The room is so big. With such good price and we can stay in a such nice hotel. I really think we made a good decision to stay Otsu Prince Hotel in Kyoto. It made us have a complete journey.
The 180 degree lake view from the room. Nice smile from every staff.
shuttle bus finish too early, always need to take the cap back to hotel at night

We arrived to find that our room had been upgraded to a room on an upper floor with really excellent view of the Lake Biwa. This was really a pleasant surprise.
The reception staff and the bell service staff were most efficient and helpful. We had our dinner at a Chinese restaurant and found it to be an excellent restaurant in terms of foods and service.
All in all it was a great experience for us. We plan to stay again during our next visit next year.
