It was a relaxing and comfortable stay. The hotel has a very great view of the lake. The room is very big and it is a great choice to stay instead of staying in one of the hotel in Kyoto. If you drive a car, then it is a great choice since going to Kyoto only takes you 30 mins. Compared to a small room hotel in Kyoto I would prefer this hotel. Definitely I would come back again this hotel.

We wanted to do sightseeing in Kyoto but couldn't get booked up there or in Osaka and so decided to opt for the Otsu Prince on Lake Biwa. It was a perfect choice. We had a super room on the 35th floor with a great view over the lake, the staff were always helpful, the restaurants were above us, also with great food and views and we like to explore so a 10 minute walk to Zeze station or a taxi to Otsu station or the shuttle bus was no problem for us. We could easily get to Kyoto and Osaka on the railway and it was great to come back to the peace and quiet at the end of a day. The only difficulty was getting to Osaka Airport but with a little forward planning it proved to be no problem at all. Many thanks.

Beatiful lake view

Arrived at about 7pm. Check in was no fuss. The reception was professionally courteous and heldful. The property is well maintained . The room I stayed is spacious and the double bed is much bigger than normal.
