Big room with king size bad very comfy after visiting the city all day!

The bathroom with a nice design, but the sink is too stylish and pretty uncomfortable!

Located in a nice area this hotel is kind of a western oasis in the heart of Kyoto. There is a subway station nearby and lots of buses to move around. A very useful hotel shuttle pops you off to a couple of small stations or to the central one. When you enter the hall you are overwhelmed by the hugeness of this hotel. Also the rooms are big and extremely comfortable, same for the bathrooms which are fantastic.

Located in a very nice location.

Internet and for movie chanells guest has to pay.

My room was very large, It is busy Hotel but the staff is very polite. Most of the front Office staff and some others can speak English. Hotel has a shuttle bus service from New Miyako Hotel near Kyoto Station,(every 30 min during day time)so visitors make use of that facility to travel from City to Hotel and back. There is a underground train station about 500 mtr away. We had some meals from Hotel (slightly expensive) and from many resturants in the close proximity. There are many places with tourist interest walking dsitance or you can select from Day tours too.

A breakfast buffet was included in the price - Japanese & Western food was in abundance.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You must take the time to see Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine - just a short train trip away - for its thousands of closely-spaced red Torii gates. The onsen (hot spring) on Mt. Kurama was also a delight. And don't miss out on a rickshaw ride from the "old town" - mostly young college students trying to improve their English.
