Due to its outstanding service and facilities, this hotel has been described as one of the best in Matsumoto City. Located in the heart of Matsumoto city, Buena Vista Hotel Nagano is situated opposite the city’s memorial park, just seven minutes walk from JR Matsumoto station. All rooms are medium in size, well decorated and equipped with Internet access. The bathrooms are in great condition and feature bathtubs that are noticeably larger than those found in most Japanese hotels. There are a total of four restaurants and two bars in this hotel with Japanese, Western and Chinese cuisine all featuring on the menus. The interior of all the restaurants are modern and stylish, while both of the bars have fireplaces to ensure that guests can enjoy a drink in a warm environment.

Hotel Buena Vista was a great place to stay. My mum and I shared a twin room which was incredibly spacious. We were impressed with the location, which was convenient to Matsumoto station. We didn't actually eat at the hotel so cannot pass comment about the food. The service was very pleasant. We both enjoyed Matsumoto enormously - it's a great town! And if we were to return we would have no hesitation about staying at Buena Vista hotel.
