The JR Kyushu Hotel Nagasaki staff was very professional, customer focused, and helpful to a non-Japanese speaker. The room was comfortable, well-maintained, and thoroughly cleaned each day. The hotel location was very convenient to public transportation for local sightseeing and access to Nagasaki Airport. Thank you for helping make my visit to Nagasak an enjoyable experience.

hotel was very clean and room was orderly and modern. small, but who cares? go out and enjoy nagasaki! very convenient to the wharf, public transportation, and restaurants. price is absolutely reasonable.

The hotel is very good as all the comfort you are looking for when you are travelling with small children.
Great location as located inside the JR station and also the tram line is also very close.
Great resturant near by and a shopping mall only add to the value.
I highly recommend the hotel if you are visiting Nagasaki.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Hotel is in good maintenance and in comparision to other hotel in Japan the room size is better.

Extremely convenient, great parking, clean rooms

JR Kyushu Nagasaki is a VERY clean hotel, decent sized, and great for tourists! It is connected to a shopping center, train station, and a large multi level parking structure in the center of town. We did have a car, which the hotel validates parking for a small fee of around 1000yen/day. Since the city is pretty busy, and finding parking a challenge, we purchased a day pass for the trolley busses to take us to tourist attractions. There is so much to do, places to eat, and shopping that we did not find a need to take any trains for our 3 day stay. For the price and convenience, this hotel is amazing!!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Be sure to visit Nagasaki Peace Park, Megane Bridge, Glover Gardens, and Mt.Inasa Ropeway. The Ropeway is known to have one of the best views of Nagasaki at night! But be sure to check the times! If you are driving, there is a road that can take you up to the viewing deck so you don't have to pay the cable car fee.

We chose this hotel due to its central location in town. It is connected to the train station not to mention a shopping center and a large parking structure. The hotel validates parking so we parked our car in the structure for several days for a small fee and chose to use the trolley bus system going around town. The trolleys are routed to all the main attractions around town so it was VERY easy to see many things all in one day! Considering the price, room size, cleanliness and convenience, this hotel was a bargain!!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The entrance to the parking structure for the Shopping Center and Hotel was a bit tricky to find. Hopefully you have a GPS system or traveling with a friend in case you need to find further instructions. We passed the entrance twice and when we did find it, it was directly next to another gate leading to the wrong structure!!! Beware!!!

Very good location above the station, clean room but small. Slightly noisy due to the location but nothing that will keep you awake. Good facilities and a good base to explore Nagasaki.

Just outside the station entrance! It was very nice to have someone that spoke excellent english. The location could not be any better as taxis were waiting at the station, and the tram had a stop right in front as well! The small double room was very good size! Breakfast was a great value at 840 Yen.
