New Tanda Hotel Nagasaki Info
With views, location and value-for-money, this hotel near the harbor offers an affordable way to explore Nagasaki. With the Shimin Byoin Mae tram stop a minute away on foot, the New Tanda is in an accessible spot –guests happy to walk a few minutes more will even find a direct tram line to JR Nagasaki train station. Located near the bottom of Hollander Slope, the New Tanda is also within ambling distance of Glover Hill and Oura Catholic Church. For Ramen and Pocari Sweat, a supermarket can be found within walking distance, while Chinatown and the shopping precinct are also well within distance. A distinctive 1970’s red brick building, the New Tanda cuts a brilliant figure against Nagasaki’s blue skies, and the bay views from its rooms aren’t bad either.

Close to center of Nagasaki and they had Large decorated rooms
No internet access, Smoking rooms only
I thought that the standard rooms are non smoking but it was not. I stayed only 2 nights in this hotel and the main problems is the smell in the room and also in corridors. I already accepted the fact that there was no internet access in the room. At least I could open the window wide all night to avoid the smell. There was a map in the lobby but only a Japanese version.
