Location, free wifi, friendly staff, gym, cleanliness. The only non-Japanese TV channel is BBC. Breakfast could be much much better: Industrial croissants, no cerals, no yogurt, etc...
I had decided to get to Chubu the night before my flight to avoid stress. This hotel is the best out of the three you can find on Chubu island, where the AMAZING Centrail Japan airport is located. It is 2 minutes walk to the airport via a private bridge. Lots of activities at the airport, including plane-spotting. As always in Japan, English is very "broken", and although staff are doing their best, everything in the rooms, lifts, halls is written in Japanese. Large comfortable rooms, nice bathtub, I had a great time there. Check out is at 10, which is a little early if you are flying after 12. I did my check-in before breakfast, which was really nice.
Strongly recommended if you want to have a no-stress experience at Chubu/Nagoya.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : You can watch planes from the roof of the airport, you get to see take offs and landings really close.

Free internet, tea or coffee any time. It is a bit expensive, but it is the F1 grandprix weekend, so it is understandable. This is the first time we stayed in Comfort hotel Nagoya, we chose it because we wanted to return our rented car at the airport late that night and proceed to Nagoya city early morning the next day. The hotel is just next to the airport and we stayed in the modern wing. The room was comfortable and adequate. We would choose it again if we need the overnight journey.

Location, right by airport
We had an early morning flight and were staying 3 hours away from Nagoya so decided to leave a day early and stay overnight near the airport. The Comfort hotel came up in an internet search, reviews looked good so we booked. We weren't disappointed. It really was minutes walk from the airport. Check-in was quick. Hotel spotlessly clean, airy and modern. Nice views over the bay. Coffee on tap in the hotel lobby and free internet - hotel has computer lounge and you can even print.
We tried the restaurant that night and it was excellent. Good prices, nice food, great service. Definitely recommend the cakes!
A great end to our trip.
Shopping Tip : We took train to Nagoya to go shopping but maybe got off at wrong station (Meitetsu (?))because the only shopping we could find there was designer shops and a very expensive department store. We were looking for souvenirs etc, maybe a street market or shopping mall but couldn't find anything like that.
