Overall it is a nice hotel to stay in - very convenient location, clean room, and the staff were very helpful.

Great hotel for the price. As mentioned, really surprised since this was in the lower price range. They used to be the Kaneyama hotel. I think they took it over and rennovated the place, giving it a face lift. I suspect they might be raising the prices soon because it is a good hotel in a good location with a pretty low price. But I'd still be willing to pay a bit more for this place as it was very nice. The free wifi was a great perk too. If you can forgive the small size of the rooms and the lack of English the staff speak, this is a fantastic place to stay in Nagoya.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Don't forget to get a day pass for the subway (Ichi-nichi kippu), it's like 740 yen. And then on the weekend, there's a day pass for 600 yen (goes by some other name, there will be posters for it though around the station).
